SPCPA provides a rich and rigorous mathematics curriculum that prepares students for rewarding post-secondary experiences. All students can and should be mathematically proficient. This belief compels SPCPA to focus on the teaching and learning of important mathematical concepts, skills, and relationships. Instruction aligned with standards emphasizes a connected body of mathematical knowledge which students learn through engaging in problem-solving, reasoning and proof, communication, connections, and representation. _
